S6500D Unbrick with GPG JTAG |
Unbricking / Boot repair Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 / Samsung Jena GT-S6500D is easy, but you should disassembling the phone.
Symptoms :
- Phone's dead or black screen
- Can't charging
- Can't entering download mode or recovery mode
Causes :
- Upgrade firmware process fault
- Rooting
- Flashing with wrong firmware
- Other software process fault
Tool & Materials :
- GPG Jtag box
- Disassembly tool
- Soldering tool

Step by step :
- Connect GPG Jtag box to PC
- Open GPG Jtag software
- Select S6500D model
- Click Flash file and select boot file
- Click set default pinout
- Disassembly phone
- Solder JTAG cable to phone JTAG pad / pinout, GND, NRST, TDO, RTCK, TCK, TMS, TDI and TRST pin. JTAG pinout are very small; professional experience in soldering is required to connect wires to the JTAG interface.
- Insert battery or power suply and connect USB cable to phone, in some case, you need to hold power on button while resurrection process.
- Click Write
- Resurrection processing and wait untill done and you will get this log below if resurrection is done
