    Unbricking Samsung Galaxy Wonder GT-I8150


    Unbricking / Boot Repair Samsung Galaxy Wonder GT-I8150 is easy and without disassembling the phone.

    Symptoms : 
    • Phone's dead or black screen
    • Can't charging
    • Can't entering download mode or recovery mode

    Causes : 
    • Upgrade firmware process fault
    • Rooting
    • Flashing with wrong firmware
    • Other software process fault

    Tool & Materials :
    • RIFF Jtag box
    • Soldering tool
    • PC

    Step by step :
    • Connect RIFF box to PC
    • Open RIFF software, select Samsung I8150 model
    • Set JTAG TCK Speed to RTCK, sample at Max
    • Click interface pinout
    • Open sticker / label, there's JTAG pinout
    • Solder JTAG cable to phone JTAG pad / pinout, GND, NRST, TDO, RTCK, TCK, TMS, TDI and TRST pin.
    • Insert battery or power suply and connect USB cable to phone, in some case, you need to hold power on button while resurrection process.
    • Select JTAG Read/Write tab and click Connect & Get Id to check connection, and you will get this log below if connection is ok.
    Open serial port...OK
    Connecting to the RIFF Box...OK
    Firmware Version: 1.35, JTAG Manager Version: 1.49
    Selected Resurrector: [Samsung I8150 V1.00]

    Connecting to the dead body...OK
    Set I/O Voltage reads as 1.81V, TCK Frequency is RTCK

    Detected dead body ID: 0x27B360E1
    •  Select Resurrection tab, Click Resurrection and Instruction window will appear, click "i have read this manual..........., and close window.
    • Resurrection processing and wait untill done and you will get this log below if resurrection is done
    Open serial port...OK
    Connecting to the RIFF Box...OK
    Firmware Version: 1.35, JTAG Manager Version: 1.49
    Selected Resurrector: [Samsung I8150 V1.00]

    Connecting to the dead body...OK
    Detected dead body ID: 0x27B360E1 - CORRECT!

    Resurrection sequence started.
    Establish communication with the phone...OK

    Uploading resurrector data into memory...OK

    Resurrection complete!

    •  De-solder JTAG wires



    Now phone is in bootable conditions, and still need flashing Stock ROM via Odin.  To put into download mode, press & hold Volume Down (-)  +  Home button and then power on the phone, press volume up to confirm
