    Unbricking Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660


    Unbricking / Boot Repair Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660 is easy and without disassembling the phone.

    Symptoms : 
    • Phone's dead or black screen
    • Can't charging
    • Can't entering download mode or recovery mode

    Causes : 
    • Upgrade firmware process fault
    • Rooting
    • Flashing with wrong firmware
    • Other software process fault

    Tool & Materials :
    • Easy Jtag box
    • Soldering tool
    • PC

    Step by step :
    • Connect Easy Jtag box to PC
    • Open Easy Jtag software
    • Browse and select S5660 repair file
    • Click Show pinout
    • Open sticker / label, there's JTAG pinout
    • Solder JTAG cable to phone JTAG pad / pinout, GND, NRST, TDO, RTCK, TCK, TMS, TDI and TRST pin.
    • Insert battery or power suply and connect USB cable to phone, in some case, you need to hold power on button while resurrection process.
    • Click Run Easy Repair
    • Resurrection processing and wait untill done and you will get this log below if resurrection is done

    •  De-solder JTAG wires
    Now phone is in bootable conditions, and still need flashing Stock ROM via Odin.  To put into download mode, press & hold Volume Down (-)  +  Home button and then power on the phone
